Daniel Garcia

Urban Transformation Coordinator

We are delighted to welcome Daniel back to the Red Tree Study summer team for the second year running. Last summer’s Film Internship Coordinator, this year Daniel will be managing the launch of our new Urban Transformation course in Medellin. Daniel, born and raised in California, studied Global Studies and Spanish at UC Santa Barbara.  Having previously studied in Argentina and taught English in Costa Rica and Colombia, he is now studying Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs at USC where he is focusing his research on international and exchange students.  His hobbies include soccer, Settlers of Catan, and serving study abroad students.  Daniel’s favorite movie is Kindergarten Cop, favorite soccer player is Paulo Dybala (sorry James Rodriguez), and if he could have one superpower it would be to fly so he did not have to spend money on any more airplanes.
