Christine is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, USA with a Bachelors of Arts in Community Health and Spanish. She is responsible for overseeing the coordination of program logistics for the Peacebuilding and Public Health courses and the Film Internship program. Outside of the peak program season, she works to build partnerships with Colombian universities, institutions, and companies and supports the recruitment of students from US universities for Red Tree Study’s summer programs.
Prior to working for Red Tree Study, Christine lived and worked in Barranquilla, Colombia for a year and a half. She first served as a Project Supervisor for a US based NGO that facilitates the enrollment of US students into global health courses at Universidad del Norte and guides their participation in a community based initiative co-designed with local youth in the surrounding areas of Barranquilla. After which, she served as Regional Coordinator for a Colombian Ministry of Education bilingual program, supervising the introduction and integration of foreign English teachers into public school classes.
