El Centro de Idiomas at Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Bogota, is certified by a range of governmental organisations at an international level. Not only is it’s Spanish course certified by the Ministry of Education, Colombia and the Secretary of Education, Bogota, but it is also certified by Instituto Cervantes (Ministry of Education and Culture, Spain). Their courses are part of the “Spanish in Colombia” and “ELE in Colombia” as run by Caro y Cuervo (Ministry of Culture, Colombia). This means that all the certificates they offer are backed by governments, internationally.
The University has recently been awarded the “Acreditación Institucional de Alta Calidad” (Institutional Accreditation of Highest Quality) by the Colombian government; and is the youngest university in Colombia to receive this award. Universidad Sergio Arboleda is a registered not-for-profit university, this means although it can offer the highest quality courses to you, it can pass the savings on to you also.
The courses include tutorials, conversation clubs and visa support. Each level is 40 hours with courses of 10 hours or 20 hours per week. It is a certified D.E.L.E. exam house; testing from A1 to C2, it is the only testing center in Colombia certified to test to this level.
