Film Internships

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are not taking new applications for our internship program at the moment. If you are interested in participating in future years, please read on for more information and do get in touch to find out more!

Our Film Internship Program is looking for talented applicants to work with top Latin American Film companies. Participants will be based in Bogota, Colombia for this intensive summer course. They should be ambitious, enthusiastic, and keen to experience practical and technical production skills through hands-on work experience. You can choose from a range of specialisms, including production, camera, sound, lighting, and animation, to sales and marketing, distribution, or post-production.

The program lasts six or eight weeks and includes accommodation and a busy social calendar with many different cultural activities and excursions to help you make the most of your time in Colombia. You’ll be working alongside interns from the USA, the UK and Canada and our staff are available in Colombia to provide you with support and guidance throughout. Check out our photo galleries from the 2016, 2017  and 2018 film internship programs to see our previous interns in Colombia!

It’s an exciting time for the Colombian film industry. Currently experiencing rapid growth and drawing international attention and investment, it offers ideal work experience opportunities. Backed by government initiatives, it continues to attract productions from big names such as FOX, National Geographic, and Netflix. Successful productions from participating companies include Narcos from Netflix, and the Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid, and this program offers participants the chance to get involved.
