Red Tree Study believes that excellent academic provision coupled with the chance to learn about a country’s culture and society is key to a great study abroad experience. We work hard to ensure that our students feel welcome from the moment that they arrive in Colombia, and have the chance to explore as well as study. We are proud of our friendly, approachable staff. The International Marketing Manager will contribute to this ethos and student-focussed approach when working on the recruitment, promotion and delivery of our courses.
Based principally in London, the International Marketing Manager will be responsible for Red Tree Study’s online and social media presence. They will help to develop new student recruitment channels, specifically working to increase the number of students from British and North American universities enrolling on Red Tree Study courses in future. They will use a target-based approach to devise and manage advertising campaigns using Google AdWords, Facebook, and Instagram as well as traditional print media and the company website.
We are looking for someone who will enjoy tackling the challenges of joining a small startup, and who will bring their own ideas and plenty of energy to support the company’s growth and development. They must be able to think innovatively and use tight budgets creatively.
During the summer months (June, July & August) the International Marketing Manager will spend at least three to four weeks in Colombia where they will focus on delivery of Red Tree Study’s Film Internships, Peacebuilding, Architecture and Public Health courses. They will work closely with the local program coordinators, to make sure that the courses and social activity programs are running smoothly, and that the experience is positive for all students. They must be a confident communicator at all levels and will liaise with the company’s strategic partners in Colombia, including Embassies, trade and tourism bodies, universities, language schools and film and television production companies, and will use their work in Colombia to inform marketing and recruitment campaigns.
The International Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing established relationships with prestigious universities throughout the UK and USA, and for developing new partnerships and recruitment opportunities. They will represent Red Tree Study at student-facing and B2B recruitment and study abroad fairs, which will necessitate travel within the UK as well as regular trips to the USA.
Red Tree Study offers flexible working arrangements, and the International Marketing Manager will have the option of working remotely for up to three days per week. Office work will be based in a contemporary shared workspace in central London.
